Hello everyone, this is our sweet boy, Teddy. Anyone who has had the pleasure of meeting him knows just how great of a dog he is.

In November, we received the devastating news that Teddy has a large tumor in his left lung. We immediately began treatments to shrink it, but unfortunately, they were unsuccessful. Even after trying a pre-chemotherapy treatment, the tumor has not responded; in fact, it has continued to grow. The tumor has now overtaken his entire left lung and is beginning to move into his right lung.

Our next and best hope is surgery to remove the mass. Because this is a very complex and risky procedure, Teddy is being taken to a hospital in Columbia, SC, where he can be in the hands of an expert medical team. This was an entirely unexpected expense that we were not prepared for. The total cost for surgery and recovery is $12,000.
