Teddy is our 4-year-old German Shepherd, and she truly is like a baby to us. She’s our sweet, cuddly, loyal, and loving girl who brings so much joy to our lives. Her gentle spirit and devotion to our family are unmatched. Seeing her in pain has been heartbreaking, and we’re doing everything we can to help her feel better.

In November, Teddy developed a fever with an unknown origin and has been in constant pain. She whimpers daily when she moves, even though she’s on pain medication. She has already been hospitalized multiple times with a fever over 104 degrees, and we’ve poured over $10,000 into tests and treatments, but so far, we haven’t found any answers. We’ve reached a point where we simply don’t have the funds to continue down the path of diagnostics, but Teddy still desperately needs help. Her next round of tests has been quoted at $9,000. This is our longterm GoFundMe goal. We need to figure out what’s causing her pain so we can treat her and give her the comfort she deserves.

This has been especially hard on our family because I (Teddy’s mom) am currently going through a neurological chronic condition diagnosis and am unable to work at this time. The funds raised will go directly toward Teddy’s diagnostic testing, hospitalization fees, and visits to specialist doctors. Every dollar will help us get closer to finding answers and providing Teddy with the care she needs.
