Help Teddy Bear Fight Cancer

Thank you SO much for reading Teddys story!
In August of 2020 I saved my third little boy. Teddy was malnourished and underweight when he was rescued from Ripleys Flea Market in Mississippi by Coco's House Senior Sanctuary and Rescue. 3 Dogs Rescue in New England took this sweet little one under their care, and after 50+ applications, Teddy chose us.
He could not have been more perfect. He still is perfect. As a rescue advocate I knew my two girls would love him, but I could never imagine how much.
4 years later, I experienced the most heartbreaking day of my life. His limp started on April 10th, and by April 15th his back left leg was showing some minor signs of swelling. On April 17th I brought him into his primary care in the event he needed a brace. He's a tall boy. Following X-Rays I was told he needs to see an Oncologist immediately, and they suspect Osteosarcoma.
Osteosarcoma is the most aggressive form of bone cancer in dogs. If not treated the life expectancy is 1-3 months. When treated, the median is 1-2 years of life. Osteosarcoma spreads, and it spreads quickly. Osteosarcoma cancer cells will typically run quickest for the lungs, but my little guys belly is at risk too. My sweet love has not even turned 5 yet.
Our Oncologist let me know that Teddy will need immediate amputation or his quality of life would deteriorate within 2 months.
Without a thought I scheduled his amputation.
Right now, Teddy urgently needs;
Amputation - $6,000; PAID
A biopsy to confirm which type of bone cancer it is
Chemotherapy
Vaccine Trial in Cincinnati
The costs for his treatment and care are overwhelming. I need help. No matter what it takes, I will do anything to ensure Teddy is pain-free, under the best care, until the day he leaves us for the Rainbow Bridge.
Once Teddys amputation is successful he will be undergoing chemotherapy, pain management and we will be looking to travel to Cincinnati 2x times for a trial vaccine for bone cancer.
As I type this with tears in my eyes I want to let EVERYONE know that even $1 to help contribute to his pain meds, or a new toy, will change his life. He has the most amazing support system - and is (shamelessly) everyones favorite of my rescues because of his hilarious quirks.
If I can give him two more years to play with his sisters, chase the birds or sit his butt on every couch he possibly can - I will.
