Help Teddy Fight His Critical Infection

Hello everyone,

My name is Melano. I’m a full-time student at Florida Atlantic University, and I live with my mom. We both work hard, but right now, we’re facing something we just can’t handle alone.

Our dog Teddy, who has been part of our family, was recently diagnosed with a severe dental infection. Unfortunately, the infection spread beyond his teeth — it reached his kidney, pancreas, and urinary tract. His condition is critical. Now he has a kidney abscess.

Teddy has stopped eating, barely moves, and I can see that he’s in constant pain. Watching him suffer like this is breaking my heart. I’m writing this with tears running down my face, because without treatment, he doesn’t have much time left.

Teddy isn’t just a pet; he’s my best friend, my emotional support, and the one constant in my life through the hardest times. He moved to the U.S. with me. He’s been by my side through every moment — through the struggles of adapting to a new country, college stress, and personal challenges. I can’t imagine life without him.

His treatment, including hospitalization, IV fluids, and antibiotics, is estimated to cost around $10,000 (I will attach the proof of documents). We’ve already spent more than we can afford, and the vet says he needs further care to have a chance. But we’ve run out of options.

I believe Teddy can recover. He’s a fighter. But we need your help to give him that chance.
