My beloved pet has always been a source of joy and comfort in my life, and it breaks my heart to share that he was recently diagnosed with Large Cell Lymphoma cancer. This news has been incredibly difficult for me and my family, as we want nothing more than to see him healthy and happy again. He means the world to me & his sister Penelope, and we are determined to do everything we can to give him the best chance at recovery. Teddy is full of light and spirit with a huge heart for being such a tiny little guy. Teddy and I have gone through a lot over the years, and when I broke my back 5 years ago and in a near fatal post office truck accident recently Teddy was by my side 24-7. Teddy loves his squeaker toys and loves to drive daddy crazy. When we lost Teddy’s two brothers during the pandemic to congestive heart failure, Teddy was very sad and when Teddy’s sister Penelope found us 4 years ago his spirit and energy lit back up in him and now his sister follows him everywhere. When we lost Teddy’s brothers, Teddy stepped up to the plate to fill their big “paws” (shoes) and gave me the comfort I needed to move forward. Teddy is my world. The treatment plan recommended by his veterinarian includes chemotherapy, regular lab work, and ongoing medications. These treatments offer hope, but they also come with significant costs that are difficult to manage on my own. Every dollar raised will go directly toward his medical care, ensuring he receives the best possible treatment and support during this challenging time. The upside is Lymphoma in dogs is treatable and has a high opportunity for the cancer to go into remission by 80-90% in the first month. Teddy is 9 years old and will be 10 on 4/12/2026. We share the same birthday. Teddy deserves the chance to fight this cancer, but I need everyone's help if possible. I am reaching out with a heartfelt ask for help.
