Teddy is my spunky five-year-old Pomeranian. I’ve had him since he was just six weeks old, and he has been the center of my world ever since. He truly is my soul dog.
Over the past month alone, Teddy’s medical care has already exceeded $10,000 between emergency visits, specialist appointments, diagnostic testing, medications, and treatment.
A few months ago, Teddy began experiencing seizures and other frightening neurological symptoms. After multiple emergency vet visits and a referral to a veterinary neurologist, he underwent an MRI, spinal tap, and extensive testing. Teddy was diagnosed with immune-mediated meningoencephalitis, a rare condition that causes inflammation in the brain and nervous system.
Teddy has now begun intensive treatment, including chemotherapy, steroids, and seizure medications. He requires medications around the clock and careful monitoring while his immune system is compromised.
❤️ These treatments give Teddy a real chance at recovery, and I am doing everything I can to give him the best chance at a long, happy life.
If you feel moved to help, any contribution toward Teddy’s care would mean so much. If donating isn’t possible, sharing Teddy’s story would also mean the world.
Thank you for supporting Teddy.
