Help Ted Sowders' Family in Their Time of Need
Donation protected
URGENT NEED!!. We extend our gratitude to those who have contributed financially to support Ted. Unfortunately, unforeseen issues with the insurance policy, burial permit complications, and extenuating circumstances from the morticians have resulted in Ted remaining unburied. The family's situation is becoming increasingly dire. We kindly request that you make contributions to this fund to enable Ted's burial on the family's land. Thank you.
It is with profound sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of Ted Sowders' sudden passing on May 12. Our family is mourning the irreparable loss of a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, son-in-law, brother-in-law, and friend. Ted was a selfless man who made a profound impact on countless lives. He carried cash in his wallet daily, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. He generously donated to numerous charities, danced, and shared his talents to raise funds for others through various charity and fundraiser events in the Charlotte area and beyond. His commitment to serving the community was evident in his work at the men's shelter. As an exceptional ballroom dance instructor, he brought immense joy to others, teaching countless hours of ballroom dance. He deeply cherished his family and his profession, inspiring a community of students and colleagues.
Funds raised in Ted's honor will help alleviate the financial burden caused by his sudden passing. As his life insurance policy did not provide full coverage, the funds will assist with funeral and memorial expenses, ensuring a dignified farewell. His wife, Kim, a devoted grandmother caring for her mother in hospice and raising three adopted grandsons, ages 4, 6, and 7, is courageously navigating this difficult time. Though it's hard for her to ask, she seeks support to give her beloved husband a deserving final resting place.
