Hi everyone,

This is Ted – my sweet rescue dog and my absolute little treasure. He’s the kind of dog who will do anything for a belly rub and brings so much love and joy into our home every single day.

Ted came to us as a stray from a rescue centre, the only thing we know is he is around 2 years old, sadly he arrived with very bad teeth, which is something we’ve been wanting to put right for him so he can be comfortable and pain-free.

We’ve been doing everything we can to give Ted the healthy, happy life he deserves. I had been waiting on support from Dogs Trust to help with the cost of neutering, but unfortunately all of the vouchers have now been allocated.

I also looked into getting help through PDSA, but they aren’t taking on any new animals at the moment, which has left us a bit stuck.

To keep things as safe and stress-free as possible for Ted, the plan was to have his neuter and dental done at the same time so he only needs to go under anaesthetic once.

I was prepared to cover the cost of his dental myself, but without the voucher the total for his neuter and dental has come to around £300, which is more than I can manage on my own right now.

Both procedures are really important for Ted’s health and wellbeing, and I just want to get him sorted and feeling his best as soon as possible.
