Ted Dempsey, my neighbor, experienced a devastating loss early Saturday morning when his suburban was totaled by a stolen vehicle speeding down our street at 70 mph without headlights. The impact was so severe that it threw Ted's suburban onto his red car, smashing the front end. We suspect the police were chasing the stolen vehicle, which ultimately landed in another neighbor's yard. Unfortunately, both of Ted's vehicles only had liability insurance, leaving him without coverage to repair or replace them.

Ted relies on his vehicles for daily life, and now he is left without reliable transportation. The funds raised will go directly toward purchasing a new vehicle for Ted and fixing his red car, helping him regain his independence and stability. This unexpected tragedy has put Ted in a difficult position, and as his neighbor, I want to do everything I can to help him get back on his feet.
