Help Ted and Sarah rebuild after major house fire
Donation protected
Between midnight and five AM Saturday morning, a fire started by a window AC unit spread from the second floor to the rest of the Hasty-Markham family home in Eureka, IL. All family members (Diana, Sarah, Ted, Jayden, Shayla, and Riley) and their dog Maggie made it out unharmed, but unfortunately their beloved pet bird was lost.
The fire consumed the home and smoke/water damage has destroyed anything else(from important documents to everyday items to clothing and furniture). The Hasty-Markham family is in need of emergency financial assistance particularly for immediate and continued accessible housing until insurance is finalized, to replace the wardrobe/shoes/outerwear of all six family members, and to replace electronic devices (of which almost all were also lost).
With Ted being physically disabled and him and Sarah being parents of a disabled epileptic child as well as two neurotypical children, any amount you can spare would be appreciated. They are also currently trying to organize an amazon wishlist for anyone wishing to make direct purchases, and at this time would most appreciate financial assistance in the form of donations or gift cards (for food/clothing/electronics/accessible living accommodations especially). They are also hoping to create CashApp or Venmo accounts when devices are replaced.
