Remembering Ted Curry

As you all know, our friend and long time Myrtle stalwart Ted Curry (employee #2!) succumbed to cancer after a valiant fight last Tuesday evening. Leaving behind his wife Cherie and their young daughters Isabelle, Celeste, Opal and Iris. His funeral yesterday was standing room only. The church completely packed with grieving relatives, friends and colleagues. Everyone clearly loved and respected Ted. His irreverent wit, his strong ideals, sense of fairness, his passion for life and his family will stay with us. Until the end, with his texts and messages, he showed us all what stoicism in facing adversity should look like. Calmly pragmatic, positive and optimistic, he would detail the next steps in his treatment and then focus on thanking his friends, family and loved ones for their support and encouragement. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

All donations from this campaign are going directly to Cherie and their beloved girls. I know if he could, he would have thanked you with all his heart that you cared about him and his family in his darkest hour. Rest in peace Teddy.
