My name is Jillian and I have a request to make on behalf of the families of Trumbull Early Childhood Education Center (TECEC).

Every year right before Thanksgiving, the students go on a “Winter Stroll” around the outside of the school that has been decorated with inflatables. I saw pictures from this past year, and realized they were almost 100% representative of Christmas, and the rest were just representing winter. As a teacher myself, I try to be inclusive of everyone, l think this event needs to be inclusive as well. I’ve been told by the principal that it’s all donated things, so I’d like to be able to give the TECEC community some that represent other holidays and cultures. I’m trying to find an inflatable Kwanza kinara and some Hanukkah ones and anything else that represents what other cultures do around that time of year.

If you have any inflatables that you’d like to donate to this effort, or any money you’d like to put towards new ones, that would be a big help towards enriching this activity for the students. Thank you!
