Help Send 3 Athletes to Finland to Represent Team USA Ringette!
USA Ringette is making history—and three athletes from Rhode Island have earned the chance to compete on the world stage at the USA World Ringette Championship in Finland! But here’s the catch: Ringette is still a growing sport in the U.S., and Team USA players must fully fund their own travel and accommodations.
We’re raising funds to support:
• Lauren Bastien, a 16-year-old Warwick native and passionate hockey player who’s now stepping into the international ringette spotlight.
• Megan Auger, who’s been playing hockey since she was five, she currently competes in men’s leagues, and is pursuing a degree in physical education to inspire the next generation.
• Kelsey Pepler, a full time hockey coach, who developed the Valkyrie Initiative to elevate girls’ hockey and introduce ringette to Rhode Island with the help of her college roommate, and Team USA Ringette coach, Brianna Stanford.
This isn’t just about one tournament—it’s about breaking barriers for women in sports, growing a new athletic movement, and showing young girls what’s possible when you chase your dreams.
Every dollar helps these athletes (and families) cover flights, lodging, and tournament costs. Let’s rally behind them and show the world what Rhode Island and Team USA are made of!
Please donate and share to help these trailblazers make it to Finland!
