Tiara Was First Diagnosed With Osteosarcoma When She Was 13 Years Old And Was Cancer Free For 7 Years. Tiara Was Having A Panic Attack And Went To Walk In Clinic There It Was Discover After A Chest X-ray There Was A Mass. Her Doctors In Dc At Children’s Was Contacted And Testing Was Started. On 09/10/21

The Test Results Showed Her Cancer Was Back On Her Lung The Only Spot. On 9/17/2021 We Got The Call They Wanted To Start Treatments On 9/23/21 ( My Birthday) Which Made Her Very Upset I Reassured Her My Birthday Will Be Special Because I Would Be With Her. Tiara Went Into Surgery To Get Her Port Placed And The Doctor Told Me That Things Didn’t Look Right When He Went In And Was Going To Contact Her Doctors. Leading Up To This Tiara Was In A lot Of Pain And Was Having Shortness Of Breathe. Chemo Started And The Doctor On Duty Noticed Tiara Breathing Funny I Did Also And Couldn’t Sleep Tiara Was Rushed Upstairs To ICU And Was Put On A Breathing Machine The Very Next Day Emergency Surgery And A Chest Tube Was Inserted It Was Found Her Right Lung Was Completely Down And They Had To Drain Fluid Off Her Lung. She Stayed In The Hospital For 16 Days Getting Out The Day Before Her 21st Birthday. She Has Been Back And Forth To Doctors, Hospital For Blood Transfusions And Low Levels. On 12/17/2021 The Treatment Plan Has Changed We Were Waiting For A Surgery Date But Now She Has To Have Four Weeks Of Radiation Treatments Monday- Friday Meanwhile Finishing

Chemo Before Her Surgery. She Is Scared And Don’t Know What To Expect And I Have To Be With My Daughter And Can’t Imagine Leaving Her Alone So I’m Asking For Help For Gas And Other Expenses That Will Get Us Through Until She Is Finished With Treatments And Surgery.
