For the very first time, Team Scotland will proudly represent our country at the Nations Massage Tournament in Paris, France, on 3rd–4th October 2026.

This is a historic moment for Scottish massage therapy.

Our team of five dedicated therapists is made up of the following people : 

Fiona Whitecross - Team Leader / Facial Category 

Barbora Blaskova - Wellness Category 

Sharon Anfield - Sports Category

Joann Buchan - Bodywork Category

Kevin Buchan - Ayurveda Category 

We have spent countless hours training, refining our skills, and preparing to compete against some of the world’s finest massage professionals. We are passionate about showcasing Scotland’s talent, professionalism, and innovation on the international stage while inspiring the next generation of therapists back home.

Competing at this level is an incredible honour, but it also comes with significant costs. As an independent team, we are responsible for funding every aspect of our journey ourselves.

We are aiming to raise £3,500 to help cover essential expenses, including:

• Official Team Scotland competition uniforms

• Flights to and from Paris

• Hotel accommodation during the championship

• Competition registration fees

• Professional massage oils, skincare products and treatment materials

• Towels, linens and table presentation equipment

• Transport within Paris

• Scottish flags, promotional materials and team branding

• Other essential competition expenses

Every single donation, no matter how large or small, will help us take one step closer to representing Scotland with pride.

This competition is about much more than winning medals. It is about raising the profile of Scottish massage therapy, promoting excellence within our profession, building international friendships, and proving that Scotland belongs among the very best in the world.
