Over the past two years, the transformation within Team Impact has been truly inspiring. These young athletes have grown far beyond learning how to kick and spar—they’ve grown in confidence, resilience, and character. They’ve learned how to stand back up after tough losses, how to encourage their teammates when things get difficult, and how to believe in themselves even when the challenge in front of them feels overwhelming. Behind every one of these athletes is a family making sacrifices to support their dreams—parents working long hours, coordinating rides to practice, volunteering their time, and organizing fundraisers so their children can continue training and competing. For Team Impact, Taekwondo represents far more than medals or trophies. It represents discipline, perseverance, respect, and friendships that will last a lifetime.

This year, the Amateur Athletic Union Taekwondo Nationals will take place in Fort Lauderdale—a rare and special opportunity for these athletes to compete on a national stage close to home. For many of them, stepping into opening ceremonies wearing their team uniform will be a moment they will never forget. It represents months—often years—of dedication, early mornings, long practices, and the courage to push themselves beyond their limits.

The funds raised will go directly toward helping these athletes represent Team Impact and their state with pride. Donations will help provide team uniforms, shirts, and jackets, while also helping families cover the costs of attending Nationals, including travel, hotel accommodations, meals, and registration fees. The goal is simple: ensure that no athlete is unable to compete because of financial hardship. Every contribution—no matter the size—helps move these young athletes one step closer to the mat at Nationals.
