We are Team 342: The Burning Magnetos, a hardworking group of high school students with a love for robotics, innovation, and teamwork. After 4 months of designing, building, and competing, we’ve earned the incredible opportunity to attend the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) World Championships for the Engineering Inspiration Award (EI)—but we need your help to get there!
We're raising money to cover travel expenses for our entire team. This includes:
- Bus transportation to Houston, TX
- Bus transportation to and from the event center and hotel
- Hotel accommodations for 4 nights and 5 days
- Meals to keep our team fueled and focused during competition week
Attending Worlds is more than just a trip—it's a chance to compete with and learn from the best robotics teams around the globe. It's where innovation, problem-solving, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) passion collide on a world stage, and we’re proud to be traveling alongside 4 other amazing South Carolina robotics teams as we represent our state on the global stage. This is more than just a competition—it's a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the power of STEAM education.
