I am Teagans aunt, Isabel Merritt, and am making this on behalf of Teagans mom, Gina Merritt, who is a co-organizer and the benificiant of the fundraiser to take one thing off her plate. THIS IS THE OFFICIAL GOFUNDME.

All funds will go towards medical bills, Teagans long term rehabilitation, and bills while her parents are in the ICU fighting alongside Teagan for her life. Our hearts and prayers go towards Teagan. Thank you everyone for your prayers and support during this awful time.

Alot of people in the Willamette Valley, on the west coast, and even nationally know my neice - Teagan Merritt. You know her as a kind, bright, loving, talented, fierce, strong young woman who is a pillar in our community. At around 1:30pm on November 15th, the unthinkable happened. Teagan and a friend were on the way home and turning left into the driveway. Teagans friend was driving while Teagan was napping in the back seat. The friend was legally stopped on a straight stretch of road with her indicator on, waiting for oncoming traffic to clear to make a legal safe turn. A driver in a full size truck going at or above the speed limit and not paying attention, slammed into the back of their ford focus, sending it 20 yards down the road and into a creek. Teagana friend did everything she could (flashing the brake lights, honking the horn, and pulling to the right shoulder to avoid impact) and we are incredibly grateful that her quick thinking helped save Teagans life. Unfortunately, Teagan is in critical condition in the ICU and the next 24 hours are critical to her survival. If she survives, she will require long term care in a staffed nursing facility. Teagan is well known in the rodeo and wrestling circles around here and is incredibly well loved. We are asking for prayers and support to help her mom Gina, her dad Zion, and above all Teagan win the fight of and for her life. With all the love and appreciation ❤️
