We are reaching out with open hearts to ask for your support for someone very special to us. Teacher Ella has recently been facing a very difficult situation and needs help during this challenging time.

She was in the wrong place at the wrong time and was detained by ICE. However, after consulting with lawyers, it was discovered that there is nothing preventing her from fighting to remain in the United States. She came from Russia to the U.S. with her parents 17 years ago. After her parents divorced, they moved to other countries, leaving her here without family.

Although she has no relatives here, she has something very special: many students whose lives she has touched while teaching them English over the years. Teacher Ella has always taught each student with dedication, patience, and genuine care.

Now it is our turn to give back some of the kindness and support she has given to so many people. We created this GoFundMe campaign to help cover essential expenses, legal fees, and bureaucratic processes, and to provide support while Teacher Ella focuses on overcoming this difficult time.

We believe she deserves the opportunity to request to remain in the United States, as she has built her life here and has no family in her country of origin. Any contribution, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful difference.
