They think fast, make people laugh, and just made history. Now they need your help to take the stage at the Canadian Improv Games National Festival in Ottawa April 15 - 19, 2026.
Competitive high school improv in Saskatoon began 11 years ago when Tommy Douglas Collegiate sent its first team to the provincial championships in Regina.
Fast forward to 2026 - our “Skits & Giggles” troupe has spent the last four years growing together on stage - building confidence, creativity, and an incredible team dynamic. After narrowly missing the provincial title in 2025, we knew this team had the talent to go all the way and they came back determined. They sharpened their skills, built trust on stage, and pushed each other to be better. This season, it all paid off.
Our team won the Saskatchewan Provincial Tournament and earned the chance to represent our province at the Canadian Improv Games National Festival in Ottawa - the biggest stage for high school improv in the country.
This team's personalities are as diverse as it gets, but when they step on stage, they are a united force of creativity, lightning-fast thinking, and that unmistakable Saskatchewan sense of humour.
We’re raising funds to help cover flights, accommodations, and travel expenses for 9 students and 2 coaches, so they can represent Saskatchewan proudly. With your help, they will become the first improv team from Saskatoon to ever compete in-person on the national stage.
Every donation - big or small - helps make this dream possible.
Thank you for supporting the next generation of performers and storytellers.
