Tazzie is a resilient cancer survivor who became part of my family after my mother passed away. She’s been a source of comfort and companionship, especially during tough times. Recently, Tazzie developed a large skin tag that has grown quickly and become very uncomfortable for her. Today, while I was holding her in my lap at an AA recovery meeting, the skin tag started to bleed heavily. I did my best to bandage her up, but it was a scary moment and made it clear she needs veterinary care as soon as possible.

I took Tazzie to the vet for an exam, and the cost for her treatment—including pain medication, safe removal of the skin tag, stitches, and medication to prevent infection—will be more than I can afford right now. I want to make sure she gets the care she needs to heal and stay healthy, but I’m unable to come up with the money in time on my own.
