Hi everyone, I never thought I’d be creating something like this, but I’m asking for help for my dog, Taz. On Monday, the 5th, Taz was attacked by two pit bulls. He suffered multiple bite wounds to his face, head, and neck. While many of the wounds looked superficial at first, I brought him to the vet to get an initial assessment. He was given a pain injection, antibiotics and a topical ointment. I’ve been doing everything I can to care for him at home, Despite this, his facial swelling has increased, and I believe he now needs to be seen again as soon as possible to prevent things from getting worse. Taz is still eating, alert, and in good spirits — which shows how strong he is — but bite wounds can hide serious infections beneath the surface, and I don’t want to take any chances with his life.

Taz is my 3 1/2 year old Exotic Bully and truly like my child. He makes me laugh every day and is such a loving dog. It breaks my heart to see him in pain and looking so sad. Unfortunately, times are tough right now and two vet bills in one week just isn’t possible for me. Any funds raised will go directly toward his vet visit, treatment, medications, and follow-up care.
