Help Taz record his debut EP for his 40th!

For my 40th birthday I'm raising money to record my debut EP.
This is quite edgy for me. As some of you know, I don't tend to ask for help easily! For some time I haven't had the confidence to even call myself a songwriter, and I haven't had the capacity to perform (work/kids/other life shenanigans) but the music is bubbling through now anyway. I'm starting to get out there and gig in local venues and I feel like I have found a part of myself that I had forgotten about. Here is a little clip of a recent performance with the Devon Singers Collective...
I'm turning 40 this year and I would deeply value your support in helping me experience song production, having fun with other musicians in the studio and getting my music out into the world. Being in the studio is one of the most amazing experiences - I love the alchemy, the technicality and the synthesising of a vision. I love playing with other musicians and crafting a soundscape that is a piece of me to share with others. I am writing and my creative juices are beginning to flow. My kids are getting used to me humming the next tune and eye rolling at me singing away constantly but it excites me (and sometimes them) and I have a few songs ready to get out there.
I'm hoping to raise £2000 to get into a local recording studio in Dartington over a few days and record these songs. The studio costs £500 per day and I have a few brilliant musicians lined up who also need payment. Then there is the magic of mixing and mastering the tracks and also art work and photography. To raise £2000 would cover these costs and any more would make the EP extra special, allowing me to really magic up music with care and with the best production I can muster. It means a lot to have the support and backing of people who want to hear my music. Thank you so much for any contributions and for giving this 40 year old man the gift to enable his creativity.
