A week ago my sister’s cat, Luna, became extremely anemic and had to have an emergency blood transfusion to save her life. The vets don’t know the cause, but this expensive procedure was her only chance of making it. If you’ve met Taylum, you know how much Luna means to her. If you’ve met Luna, you know how special she is too– she’s the cat that even people who hate cats always end up falling in love with. She has the biggest heart, and is a very important part of my sister’s life, and happiness as a whole.

The transfusion went very well, and Luna is on the mend, getting stronger every day with the help of steroid medication. This emergency procedure was very expensive, and this is my way of trying to help her focus on taking care of Luna, instead of worrying about paying back this debt. I know my sister does not like asking for help, but it would mean the world to her for some support after this experience.
