Help Taylor's Mom Overcome Pancreatic Cancer

Hi everyone, my name is Taylor and my mom (Michele Higgins) was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on December 9th, 2023. Since then she had to sell her home due to not being able to afford rent. (She hasn’t been able to work). She is staying with a friend until she is able to work again and get a place of her own. She did 6 rounds chemotherapy every 2 weeks. They were then able to do surgery on April 22nd, called the Whipple procedure where they took gallbladder, upper intestines, bile duct and the head of the pancreas. Since surgery she is suffering with side effects and neuropathy has been the most debilitating . She now has to do chemo and radiation for 28 days straight (weekends off) which will leave her immune system even more compromised than it was already. We’re just trying to raise money to keep her bills paid and stay afloat. No one ever wants to ask for help but insurance doesnt cover everything and her savings is now gone. We are so thankful that she made it through surgery and admire her strength and wish that was all she could focus on. We are all doing what we can and my mom will be incredibly grateful for any help even if all you can send is thoughts and prayers. Thank you!
