Help Taylors family from being homless

I was diagnosed 3 months ago with Myles I syndrome, or AML (pre leukemia). Basically, my immune system is eating itself, I have no plaitlets, red blood cells, or white blood cells. Ultimately they think I need a marrow transplant.

I was at work on may 7th and was bleeding from my gums. I immediately went to the ER. After having labs done I began infusions, blood and plaitlets. They did a marrow biopsy with old hand tools. I stayed there for almost two weeks before they figured I needed a specialist which they didn't have. They just couldnt come to a conclusion of what to diagnose me with.

They shipped me to hospital #2, which is a teaching hospital and had access to better care. I had another marrow biopsy with better tools. They figured out a plan of action, and began the process, and I went home.

I was to go to labs every Monday and Thursday to check my levels. Then check in to outpatient oncology.

If need be, I would get the infusions I needed. One week out of the month I'm to get a IV chemo treatment. All of this is fine and going well.

The hospital is 100 miles round trip, for me that means $35 dollar in gas 11 times a month. Like everyone else, pandemic hit us hard. Almost zero money until the federal checks came in. Then my wife and I were lucky enough to get great jobs to keep the bank account in a good spot. Then I was hit with having cancer.

I have no white blood cells so a cut, or common cold could be fatal for me. I cannot work. My wife would have to take me to the hospital a couple times to be admitted for cellulitis, and a neutropenic fever the second time. Her boss got tired of it and she was pushed to the bottom of the ladder. She now has a great job, with a great boss, but being the new girl, doesn't get much hours. Though they are coming.

While I was in the hospital, I organized all of my paperwork to file for disability when I realized I only had 49 days to file, this was close to 60 days. I got all the necessary paperwork together and gave it to my primary care provider, hoping they can work some magic.

We use the food banks in our area, and have a good card. But between everything else going on, we've had car trouble. That took a chunk of cash we weren't planning on spending. Two teenage boys starting school, needed clothes and supplies. That took some cash too. My elderly mother lives with us too, and is mostly self sufficient day to day, but we pay all her bills.

We are finally out of money.

We havnt paid this months rent yet, so there will be a big late fee attached to it. I really don't know where to turn. I'm asking for a little padding to see us through until my wife gets her raise and more hours, and my disability kicks in. Or to figure out a plan b.
