Hi, my name is Aisha, and I’m the proud mother of three amazing young ladies.
Today, I’m reaching out to ask for your support in helping my oldest daughter, Taylor, pursue her dreams in film and photography. She’s entering her junior year of college and is just two years away from graduation—but we’ve hit an unexpected snag.
Taylor has always been a dedicated student. She earned full scholarships through high school and into college, and was even nominated to her college’s Honor Society. Unfortunately, her original college recently cut several degree concentrations, including hers, which made it impossible for her to complete her program there.
After a lengthy and challenging search, we found the perfect fit: the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). The technology, curriculum, and creative environment are everything she dreamed of—and she was able to transfer enough credits to maintain her academic standing. Thanks to her strong portfolio and academic record, she received scholarships that significantly reduced her tuition costs, but not the same as full coverage, there are still major expenses we need help covering.
Taylor now has to relocate, which adds housing costs and a deposit we hadn’t planned for. She’s applied for part-time jobs, but as many of you know, “everyone’s hiring but no one’s hiring.” I’ve been helping her search for jobs and scholarships, but the reality is—we need help.
What many don’t know is that I have Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and suffered a stroke last year. I’ve always shown up for my daughters, my family, and my friends, but this time, I’m asking for help. I’m currently off work, and my middle daughter is a high school senior preparing for her own college journey, prom, and graduation.
We’re raising funds to help cover:
- Housing costs and deposit
- Tuition and fees
- Camera, equipment, software, and editing tools
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings Taylor one step closer to her dream. Thank you for reading, sharing, and supporting our journey. If you can't give $5, $10, $20, etc., any amount is appreciated. Please share and pray for Taylor to reach her goal!
With gratitude,
Aisha
