Help Taylor recoup after a car wreck

Hi all!

My name is Ashleigh and I’m raising some funds for my good friend Taylor.

This lady has been THROUGH IT!

After a breakup in which she lost her only mode of transportation and half of her income, things went downhill.

Literally.

Taylor is an incredibly giving person, who puts others first. I commute to SoCal for work during the week and she, very selflessly, offered to drive me to and from the airport and let me stay with her.

Taylor was lucky enough to borrow a car and I was going to move in and pay part of the rent! (Yay!)

She was driving to pick me up in LA the night of March 14th in which the city received record rainfall. It rained over 3 inches that night, when it typically only rains 2 inches a month. Taylor hit a puddle and hydroplaned across 4 lanes of traffic and rolled down an embankment.

She was lucky to be alive! The car landed upside down, but by some miracle, Taylor and Atticus (her service dog in training)

were unharmed.

Soon reality set in, she was alive, but the car she borrowed? Not so much.

While Taylor is doing everything she can to get back on her feet — like forgoing pre-planned adventures, getting two roommates, and adding additional income streams; it’s not enough.

She’s now having to replace 2 vehicles and manage a very full workload and home life.
