Help Taylor Howell's Fight Against Aplastic Anemia
Hi Everyone - Our 14 year old Granddaughter, Taylor Howell, has been diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia. This is a blood disease in which her body doesn't produce red or white blood cells or platelets. She is a very beautiful, happy, fun-loving, strong, bubbly, kind and caring young girl that has a long tough road ahead of her. She needs to have a bone marrow transplant by the end of July beginning of August this year (2021). We Thank God, her Mom, Heather (our daughter) is a bone marrow match. Before she can have the bone marrow transplant she will need to have chemotherapy to kill off the bone marrow she currently has in her body in order for her body to accept the new bone marrow. All of her medical procedures need to be done at Mayo in Rochester, MN. Taylor and Heather will need to be in Mayo 2-3 weeks before the procedures. After the procedure Taylor will need to be in the hospital in Mayo for 4-6 weeks. She is also required to stay in Rochester for100 days after she gets out of the hospital from the bone marrow transplant because they have to monitor her very closely, her immune system will be nothing due to the chemotherapy & also to make sure her body accepts the new bone marrow & her organs will accept it and not shut down. Your gracious financial support will help contribute to the medical and travel expenses they will be incurring. And hopefully will also help to allow Taylor's parents Heather and Matt & bother Kole to be able to be with her during her fight as well as to help relieve the financial strain they will be incurring. We would also appreciate your prayers for the good Lord to bring our sweet girl back to good health and give us all the strength we need to help us through! Thank you for your love & support!
