My daughter Taylor has been through so much in such a short time. Her son Liam was born prematurely in November, and he was airlifted to Children's Hospital in St. Louis. Liam was born with many birth defects and thus required him to be ventilated. Liam spent 2 months in the NICU and would require ventilation for his entire life. This led to Cardiology not being able to do the reconstructive surgery needed for his heart to sustain life if he was on a ventilator. This, combined with the many other surgeries he would require, led to a very serious life-changing decision for my daughter and grandson. Taylor did not want her son living on life support to breathe, eat, and just function. She discussed it with her family and decided that if Liam could not breathe on his own with the removal of the ventilator, then he was not to be re-intubated and God would heal him. This was just the case. On January 4th, 2025, God took our sweet baby Liam and cured him of all his earthly ailments. While managing Liam's medical issues and her own emotional roller coaster, it was discovered that Taylor had some issues that would make her unable to work, so she moved back home.

The reason I am starting this is to help my daughter in a way that her Dad and I cannot do alone! Her medical bills are coming in, and although insurance has taken care of most of it, there is still a lot after a 2-month NICU stay, and she is struggling to get the rest of the funds needed for the purchase of the tombstone. Any donation received would be appreciated and go towards medical bills and tombstone purchase for my precious Grandson Liam.
