My name is Jesse. My family has had quite the week. On the same day that I was going in for a knee surgery, my mom Nancy, went into Emergency with some respiratory problems. She has been in the ICU for over a week. And then a couple days ago, my brother Taylor, was also having breathing problems. He has been in the ICU for 2 days. He is currently intubated and heavily sedated. We are waiting for available bed space at a larger hospital so he can receive higher level care and I will drive to wherever I need to go to be with my brother. My dad is also home sick with the flu and isn’t able to help or see his family at the hospital.
