Hello, my name is Taylor. I am reaching out for help because in February of this year my husband & I were involved in a car accident which took my husbands life on impact & sent me to the ICU for 3 months. The car accident has left me disabled & I am relearning to walk, I have fought SO hard to be here. I coded multiple times, had 9 surgeries, broke 9 ribs, my hip, my back in 2 places, my neck, shattered my heel, had my bowels ressected, lost half my lung, cracked my skull, etc. I will probably never walk correctly because I have drop foot & require a leg brace (AFO) to be able to walk. During all of this my children lost EVERYTHING. They lost their dad, their home, their animals, their mom & had to move into my mother’s house, that is where we currently all stay. These children deserve the world & I have been fighting so hard to give them everything they deserve & more. I owe it to them. We finally after 9 months got approved for a townhouse & will be moving in, sometime in December. I somehow have a $3,500 consumers bill. No one was staying in my home after February so I have no idea how it got ran up so high, but we did have a previous balance that was pretty high at $1,600. I have to pay this consumers bill before I can move into my apartment & I have no idea how I’m going to especially with having to pay for everything else the kids & I will need when we get HOME. I have applied for State Emergency Relief & I am

in contact with other agencies but they are worried they won’t be able to process everything in time. If I do not have everything ready by move in time they move to the next person, no second changes because it is low income housing. I am begging for help, my children & I need some peace, our own space again & a chance to start somewhere fresh where we all have rooms, where I can figure out our new normal. I need the help or I would not ask. If you can please find it in your heart to help us out I would appreciate it. God has worked miracles for me & has given me a chance to start over, to be better, to be here for my babies. I want to make sure I do everything I can. Thank you & God bless.
