Help Taylor Access Lifesaving Cancer Care

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. Three years ago, at 19, I was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer after months of testing, procedures, and my first bone marrow biopsy at 18. Since then, my life has revolved around hospital stays, surgeries, infusions, clinical trials, and doing everything possible to stay alive and functional. Just this January, I spent 19 days hospitalized. I’ve undergone multiple surgeries and even froze my eggs at 21 to try to protect the future cancer tried to take from me. I don’t share this for pity — I share it because I am at a point where I truly need help.

The next phase of treatment recommended for me is considered experimental. Because my condition is rare, many of the most promising therapies fall outside of standard insurance coverage. My insurance will not cover these treatments, and the out-of-pocket costs are overwhelming. At the same time, I am carrying significant medical debt from years of hospitalizations, procedures, and ongoing care. This treatment isn’t cosmetic. It isn’t optional. It’s what my doctors believe will give me the best chance at stability, pain control, and long-term survival. It’s the difference between barely getting by and having a real quality of life.

I have always tried to handle things on my own. I’ve worked through treatment. I’ve pushed through school. I’ve done everything I can to stay independent. But rare diseases come with rare price tags, and I cannot do this part alone. If you are able to donate, share, or simply send this to someone who might, it would mean more than I can explain. Every contribution — no matter the size — brings me closer to accessing the care I need to live and feel better. And if you can’t give financially, sharing this page and keeping me in your thoughts truly matters too. Thank you for showing up for me. Thank you for helping me fight for a future that feels bigger than my diagnosis. With gratitude, Taylor
