Hello, my name is Tayler Erickson. Earlier this week we found out that my grandmother has been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. She is currently hospitalized and I am 39 weeks pregnant living out on the other side of the state. I got the go ahead from my midwife team to travel to see her to say goodbye. Half way across the state my engine blew up and the car is no longer drivable. With a baby due in less than 2 weeks the timing couldn’t be worse. It’s never easy asking for help but I am reaching out in hopes to raise funds to get a reliable vehicle and reduce stress in the end of this pregnancy. Soon we will be on paternity leave to take care of our little guy, making finances even more of an issue. Having a safe vehicle for our son to ride home in and be taken to appointments is crucial.
