My name is Shana, and I am writing this to help my daughter Tanzania (Tay) during a very difficult time.

On January 3, 2026, my daughter’s apartment building caught fire. She woke up to flames and smoke in the early morning hours. She and her boyfriend were able to evacuate quickly and safely. The fire started in her unit due to some faulty wiring, and while we are immensely grateful and humbled that she was able to evacuate safely everything in the apartment has been damaged by fire, water, and soot.

She is now forced to not only relocate, but also replace everything she owned. Unfortunately, her renters insurance recently lapsed, and she will have to start over from scratch.

Donated funds will help be used to:

* obtain Immediate housing

* Replace all belongings

* Basic living expenses while she works through replacing everything.
