Help Tay go to Beauty School

Hey everyone! My name is Taylor, I’m 28 years old and I live in Portland, Oregon. Since I was in high school I have had the dream of attending beauty school. Nothing in this world makes me happier than having the opportunity to help people feel confident and beautiful. As a plus size girl, it is the most important thing in my life to help other people feel good in their own skin. For a few years I worked at Ulta beauty where I got to live my dream in a very small way, but I never had the chance to take the plunge into school due to finances. Then in early 2020, I finally took the chance and enrolled in Paul Mitchell to start in April 2020 (Yeah… April 2020 :/ ) But a few weeks before I was going to start, Paul Mitchell closed their doors forever due to Covid. Now 2 years later I am in the process of trying to enroll in Beau Monde Academy for their Hair Design program. I love everything this school has to offer and I believe it is the perfect fit for me! But unfortunately, I applied for financial aid and it is not enough to cover my tuition. I was devastated.. The monthly payments would currently be too high for me to afford, so if I could just raise a few thousand dollars then I would be able to afford the payments on my own! This is very hard for me to ask for help. But I don’t think I can put off my dreams any longer. This is the only thing I want to do with my life and I have to do what I can to get there.
