If you've found this and you don't know me, I'm Taylor, a 23 year old transgender woman. And if you do know me, then hey, how you doing? Text me some time. Anyway, as part of my transition, I have decided that I want to go ahead with GRS, or Gender Reassignment Surgery. It's a huge step for me, probably the biggest I've ever taken in my life, but it's also a very expensive one. In total, the estimated total cost of the surgery is $19,000, and the date of the surgery is the 27th of Feb, so I need to get the money by then.
As much as I dislike asking people for help, I've decided that this means enough to me for me to forgo my normal aversion to help and to put this out there.
I'm not expecting this to raise all the money for me of course. I have my savings and my job, and will be putting all of the money I earn between now and the surgery date straight into my surgery. Any money that you can spare for me, though, would be appreciated beyond belief. If you're someone that I know and you do donate, please let me know, and I'll find some way to thank you personally.
