Hi everyone,

My name is Tave, and I normally wouldn’t ask for help, but I’m in a situation where I can’t do this alone.

I’ve been battling metastatic lung cancer that has spread to my brain and other areas. Recently my doctors told me my life expectancy could be around 6–18 months, and the cancer continues to spread. Hearing that has been incredibly hard.

The one thing that matters most to me right now is being able to see my daughter in person.

Because I live on a fixed income, every dollar I have goes toward basic bills, medical costs, and medications. There simply isn’t anything left to put toward travel. My daughter also works hard but struggles to cover her own bills, so neither of us can afford the trip.

I’m hoping to raise $2,000 to help cover:

Her travel to come visit me

Basic transportation and expenses for the trip

Time together while we still have it

Seeing my daughter again would mean the world to me. Time with family is something you can never get back.
