Hi everyone,
My name is Tatiana Lima, and I'm a music artist and guitarist based in Silverlake, Los Angeles. On 10/9/25-7:20AM I saw that my car was broken into right outside my apartment. Two of my most treasured guitars — a PRS Custom 24 ($4,200) and a Martin 000-17 Whiskey Sunset ($2,000) — were stolen, along with my LINE 6 POD GO pedal, Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 interface, and other essential gear I use daily to record, perform, and create music.
This gear wasn't just expensive — it was deeply sentimental. I saved for years after college to buy these guitars with money from my first "big girl job." I've used them to write and track all my original music, collaborate with other artists, and play countless live shows. I even just released a new song on September 26, which has been gaining traction on TikTok. I was booked to perform at a Halloween event in San Francisco on October 25 — a huge opportunity with a 350-person draw — and had another inquiry for a show in Texas. Without this gear, I’m heartbroken and unable to play.
The person who broke into my car also stole my airbag, destroyed my keyhole (without breaking any windows), and took my grandma's birthday card to me. I did everything right — nothing was visible in the car, the trunk was closed, and the neighborhood is typically very safe. Even the police said it looked like I may have been watched.
I'm asking for help to raise $7,400 to replace the stolen gear so I can keep creating, performing, and pursuing the music career I’ve been building for years.
Stolen Gear:
PRS Custom 24 Electric Guitar – $4,200
Martin 000-17 Acoustic Guitar – $2,000
LINE 6 POD GO Pedal – $550
Focusrite Scarlett 4i4 Audio Interface – $250
2 Guitar Cases – $350
Guitar Straps, Strings, Cables, Repair Gear – $250
Any contribution — big or small — means the world to me.
If you can't donate, sharing this with friends, fellow musicians, or anyone who can help is just as powerful.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your support.
-Tatiana
