Hi, I’m Sabrina

As you know I don’t usually do this, but my friend and former groomer from Camp, Ania, is trying hard to help her family escape Ukraine.

‘They live in a small town in Sumy, and have been bombarded by the RU military for days. Ania was able to pay someone to help transport her family out. At the last minute her brother who has some learning disabilities, panicked and fled. They were able to convince Tatiana, her mother, to get in the car before the Green Zone closed.

After a 6 hour, harrowing car ride, ‘Tatiana is currently on a 16 hour train ride to Lviv, where we hope to get her on a bus to Poland and hopefully get her to San Diego to be with her daughter Ania, who is still working to see if she can get her dad and brother out.

‘I’m hoping to get some funds together to help with the transportation costs, any clothes and essentials she will need and once she gets here, and medical check-up because she recently had surgery and has been unable to get her follow-up care.

‘I understand that everyone is going through tough times so if you are able to give any amount of money, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, know I understand.

‘I have spent a fair amount of time with Tatiana when she would accompany Ania to work at Camp grooming dogs. She is the most lovely and kind woman and all I want to do is see her smiling face again!
