My four year old dog, Tater, was born with luxating patellas in his back legs. Over the last year, his condition has gotten worse, and recently he fell while jumping off the couch, pushing his kneecap out of the socket. Now, Tater is walking on three legs and needs immediate surgery because he is in pain. Unfortunately, his pet insurance will not cover the surgery due to a clause that excludes preexisting orthopedic issues found in the first 30 days of the policy.

Tater is the sweetest boy and loves everyone he meets. He used to love playing fetch, but now his back legs give out just walking to his food bowl. The pain medication can only do so much, and it breaks my heart to see him struggle. He is otherwise very healthy, and I can't imagine my life without him in it. The funds raised will help cover the cost of his surgery so he can return to his happy, active self.
