Help Families of Tasneem & Hazem Escape from Death

Donation protected
Hello, my fellow humans,

I am writing this plea filled with hope, hoping it will aid in getting my family out of the war zone and to safety.

(Tasneem mentoring unemployed young people get online jobs)

From Tasneem: Before the Gaza war, I worked as a business development manager at a tech company, fostering growth and opportunities. Additionally, I volunteered with NGOs, serving as a mentor in tech accelerators and assisting unemployed graduates in finding online employment. My days were filled with purpose and promise, but all of that changed when war tore through our lives.

From Hazem (Tasneem's brother): Just two short months before the war, I was bursting with joy as I landed my first contract as a software engineer at a local tech company. The promise of a bright future lay before me, and I found myself thinking whether to buy a new car or in a new flat of my own.

The laughter and innocence of Tasneem's three children (pictured from the right—Ahlam 7-year-old, Fatima 2-year-old, Basheer 3- year-old)—have always been guiding light for Tasneem as a mother.

Ahlam had just begun her first year at school, a symbol of new beginnings. Yet, her education was abruptly halted when her school was reduced to rubble in a devastating bombing, leaving Tasneem (as a mother) fearful for her future.

When I lost my own flat and my car, I escaped to my parents' lovely house; however, the loss has extended to my parents' family.

As sought refuge in my parents' home, only to face further tragedy. My sisters, Aya and Haneen, lost their jobs as a dentist and an ESOL teacher, respectively due to the war.

Even Hazem lost everything, including his laptop. The pain became unbearable as we struggled to provide basic necessities for my ailing mother and retired father.

Amidst the chaos of war, our family faced unimaginable pain and challenges. My mother, aged 56, suffered from heart failure, and the inability to access vital medications only added to our distress.

Despite my father (62 years) diligent efforts to provide us with a good education, having worked tirelessly throughout his life, he now finds himself retired and struggling to secure clean drinking water and healthy food.

Starting this campaign was a tough decision for me because I always thought others needed help more. Also, I have never thought of leaving home and might not see it again!

But with each passing day, things get worse here, and I realize that me, my kids, my parents, and my siblings could be in real danger and I have to leave Gaza, and leave it now.

The only way out is to pay a lot of money to the border authorities to let us leave.

How Tasneem and Hazem families will use the money to escapes and rebuild again:

(My family and my parents family)

The money will be used to pay the travel agency who will facilitate our evacuation. The cost is $9,000 USD for adults above 16 years old and $5,000 USD for children under 16 years old (hopefully, these fees won't be raised during the campaign), plus the transaction, transportation and fees of Go Fund Me.

After we cross the borders, we need to rent two apartments for my family and my parents' family for four months until we organize ourselves. This will cost $10,000 beside the transportation fees.

We need to evacuate three kids (Tasneem's children ) and eight adults so we need at least $100.000

Please note that the surplus of the donations will be distributed to needy families in the Gaza Strip as the cost of living is extremely high to cover basic needs.

Together, we can make a difference and bring light to the darkest corners of despair.

Every dollar makes a difference, kindly share to help kids find a brighter future and young people pursue their ambitions.
