I am Tasneem, I am 18 years old. My family consists of 7 members ..My father, my mother, my big brother Sohaib, me, my younger brother Mohammed, my sister Ranim, and my little sister Maryam who have been displaced since the first day of the war, because our area is close to the border. We have been displaced about 5 times so far. My eldest brother, Sohaib, is 20 years old, a 2nd year university student studying multimedia.
His dream and everything else were shattered. I bear responsibility for my family in all aspects, because my father is incapable of doing so. He is sick and underwent head surgery. I want to bring them comfort. I want to protect them from hunger. All of this is to stay alive, whether it is eating or drinking.
At this age, which is a foundational stage for us in studying and building a future, the war has changed this concept into endless suffering. At this age, I have begun to bear responsibilities that I should not bear, such as providing water, food, and everything necessary to stay alive. We are being subjected to genocide. We are being oppressed. We want freedom. We want to live in peace. How many days have we gone without food? How many days have we been… We were evacuated suddenly, leaving everything behind, we stayed in the street without any care, without food or drink, I want to protect myself and my family, from several necessary and important things (starvation, providing water, and protecting them whenever the evacuation asks us to go to the safe area, protecting my younger siblings from their needs), all I want is to protect my family and stay alive, donate and participate and do not ignore us, thank you
