Tasmiah is a dedicated mother to a 9-year-old daughter, and her life has always revolved around nurturing and supporting her child. She has been courageously battling ovarian cancer since 2022. I have known her personally since 6th standard, when we were classmates in school, and over the years she has consistently remained the same kind, gentle, and caring person I first came to know as a child. Known for her integrity, warmth, and thoughtful nature, Tasmiah has always been someone who prioritizes family, relationships, and the well-being of others. Her sense of responsibility and selflessness have been evident in how she balances her own hardships while continuing to care for her daughter with patience and love. These qualities have become even more evident as she faces this life-altering illness with remarkable strength.

Over the past two years, Tasmiah has undergone extensive medical treatment, including the surgical removal of her uterus followed by multiple rounds of chemotherapy. While these treatments have been essential, they have placed a severe physical, emotional, and financial strain on her and her family. Now, Tasmiah urgently needs another surgery to continue her fight against cancer.
