Help Tasia with a Rare Cancer access Medical & Basic Needs
Donation protected
Hello Everyone!
My name is Anastasia, and I’m sharing something deeply personal because I’ve reached a point where I need help. I have recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST), a rare and challenging cancer with roughly 6,000 people diagnosed a year worldwide. We have now come to find I process a gene mutation (SDH-Deficient) meaning first line treatment unfortunately isn’t an option. Meaning I’m now referred to a specialist Oncologist to see what Clinical Trials could have the most luck in treatment.
Right now, I am unable to work and don’t qualify for government support payments. This has left me struggling to cover the basics — things like food, bills, and the extra medical costs that come with living with cancer.
I’ve always tried to manage on my own, but the reality is that I can’t do this alone anymore. Any support I receive will be immensely appreciated and go directly toward:
- Medical Costs (appointments, treatments, medications not fully covered
- Daily living needs (groceries, bills, transport to appointments)
- Basic stability so I can focus on my health instead of constant financial stress
Every donation, no matter how small, makes a huge difference. If you aren’t able to give, simply sharing this fundraiser with others would mean the world to me.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story, for your kindness, and for supporting me through this. ❤️
With gratitude
Tasia x
