Hi my name is Diane Smith my dear friend Tasha Taylor needs everyone's help and prayers.

On Feb 15th..2025 in Jacksonville fl. Tasha was shot in a mistaken identity case.

Tasha along with her cousins were out celebrating when Tasha's cousin ex-girlfriend assumed Tasha was the new girlfriend . Pulling up beside their car the ex- girlfriend got out of the vehicle an altercation took place and in a jealous rage, split second moment shot Tasha in the head. The suspect is in Jacksonville jail awaiting trial on 2nd. Degree attempted murder charges.

Tasha is only 42 years old when this happened. A Wife, Mother of 3 and a newly grandmother . She was a UPS Supervisor at the time of the shooting.

Tasha is now paralyzed from the head down. The bullet still lodged in her neck. A feeding tube, pain pump, and a trak. Her life forever changed. She will never be able to hold her grandson, hug her kids, be active in her boy's sporting events , do mother & daughter outings , date nights with her husband and be active in the community. They need help financially. The day to day struggle is real trying to make ends meet. Her husband Tony is her primary care giver and has not left her since Feb.15, 2025. My Beautiful friends life has changed forever. Yet her faith remains strong. She does not hate the shooter , but she wants justice for what she has done .This senseless crime should not have happened to Tasha.
