Help Tarynn, Delainey, and Leo in Their Time of Need

Donation protected
This week, my dear friend Tarynn and her children, Delainey and Leo, experienced an unimaginable heartbreak when their beloved partner and father, David, passed away unexpectedly. As they navigate the shock and grief of this sudden loss, they are also facing the heavy burden of unplanned expenses and the uncertainty of what comes next.

We are asking for your support to help ease the immediate financial strain and to give Tarynn the stability she needs as she plans for her children’s futures. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference during this incredibly difficult time.

Survived by parents Doug and Linda Kass, partner in life and in love Tarynn Rhynalds, children Delainey Rhynalds and Leo Kass, Uncle Tom Fitzgerald and wife Linda Maue, Aunt Mary Fitzgerald, Aunt Gayle Sturm, Cousins Katie Sturm, Sarah O’Neal, Laura Emmanuel, Lacey Burden, Joseph Fitzgerald, Kim Fitzgerald, and last but not least his cat, Jack.

Proceeded in death by grandparents John and Lois Kass, Tom and Lorraine Fitzgerald, Uncle Roger Sturm and brother Stephen Kass.

David was born in Omaha, NE-a proud and steadfast Husker fan. A pride only beaten by the joy of watching his son, Leo play baseball and flag football.

David was a proud business owner-valuing his clients and their experience over growth and monetary gain. Never wanting to grow too large that he couldn’t personally take care of each of his clients himself.

David never met a person he wouldn’t help, a stranger he couldn’t talk to, or a dog he didn’t like. His compassionate, selfless, always endearing nature served him well, charming his way right into the heart of Tarynn Rhynalds. They spent over a decade together building a loving and wonderful family.

He dedicated his life to his family and children Lainey and Leo, his partner Tarynn and their hobby farm in the city. His days were spent taking care of those he loved with whatever they needed. He was the first one called when any of them were in need- dedicated to making wonderful memories and experiences for his kids including camping , fishing, fire pits and family dinners every night.

David’s last week on this Earth was a great one filled with all the things he loved, Husker football, fall weather, fire pits and a camping trip with his family. His last night was spent cooking chili for his loved ones, and ended exactly how he would have wanted- cuddling with the love of his life.

David was so excited for the future of his family and all the moments to come, having been months away from becoming a grandfather . It’s impossible to think of life without him, and it will take all the support and love from his family and friends to fill the void of this one man. He will live on through us, his laughter will be heard in our hearts, we will see him in his son’s smile. We will tell his stories and we know, just like in life, he will be with us, watching every moment from above.
