My name is Taryn, and I am a student at Wittenberg University. I have been given the incredible opportunity to participate in a service-learning trip to Lesotho, Africa. This journey is not just about travel—it's about making a real difference. While in Lesotho, I will be working alongside local communities to build living quarters, paint, and garden. I am eager to learn about their culture and understand how they manage daily life with limited resources, which will be a truly eye-opening experience for me.

This trip is important to me because it combines my passion for service with my desire to learn from others around the world. The funds I raise will go directly toward my food, lodging, and airline ticket, which are the largest expenses for this month-long program.
