Help Taryn (Adams) Gamez Fight Brain Cancer
Donation protected
No one ever wants to have to write one of these but that's exactly what GoFundMe's for; for the crap life hands you sometimes.
Taryn has been my little sister since she was 11 years old. Im not doing the math for you, but needless to say she's a huge, significant part of my life. She's my rock. And Taryn & Jen have known each other since she was 2! Best friends and family through and through.
As most of you who know her know that Taryn has been battling Brain Cancer for almost 10 years now. At the young age of 25 she showed courage beyond her years. She is brave and strong and a fighter. Twice she has won this fight. Unfortunately, it's come back for round 3! Cancer sucks. Plain and simple. This time around is the hardest of the battles for our girl. Work, thinking, speaking, writing… all of these things that come easy to us has become a challenge for Taryn. It's frustrating for her and devastating to watch such a bright light be dimmed.
Now our girl is our absolute Hero; one of the strongest and kindest soul's you'll ever have the privilege of knowing. But she's not superhuman; she needs some help. She needs her troops. She needs us all to rally behind her. To give her some of the love she has always handed out effortlessly her entire life. She is the sweetest and most kind soul... and we know Cancer doesn't care about that, but we DO. We care that we can lighten her load of having to worry about work. About making sure all her bills are paid. That she has gas to be driven the 90 miles each way to Seattle for radiation 5 times a week. That she can spend her energy on healing and with her kids and not spend it worrying about medical bills for all the treatment she needs.
She needs to take time off work and focus on fighting this and getting better. She isn't wanting to ask for help... but I know everyone keeps asking, "what can we do and how can we help." This is it... Anything anyone can do to help her out is appreciated more than words can describe. We also ask for your prayers and for God to put His healing hands on our Taryn.
Taryn is a wonderful daughter, granddaughter, sister, friend, girlfriend, and most importantly Mother. Her kids are her life. And we all know the last two years after losing Papa Dave, her Daddy, have been rough for her whole family but especially her. Help us make the financial burdens of cancer treatment NOT get in the way of quality time with her kids.
