As a mother, it is devastating to see my son, Latarri Sample, go through so much pain and uncertainty. Tarri, also known as Mr. Sample, a passionate and hardworking educator, has just endured and overcome a relentless battle with bone cancer. While he has fought bravely, the challenges are far from over.

Tarri had dreams of returning home to Baltimore to be with his family to recuperate and heal surrounded by love, but those plans have fallen apart. The funds he anticipated receiving to help make this move possible never came through, leaving him unable to cover his monthly bills, let alone the physical therapy he desperately needs over the next three months.

Even as he fights to rebuild his life, Tarri remains dedicated to the students, families, and colleagues who inspire him every day. But the reality is, the financial burden is overwhelming. He has worked so hard, only to find himself in this heartbreaking position.
